Please read all info carefully before registering.

To those of you who were cast in this show in 2020 and did not get to perform this production, fill out the registration form and tells us in the comments what role you had and if you would like to play that role or be considered for a new role. You will have to audition again if you want to be considered for something else.

 

Entry into each workshop session is by audition only. Each workshop

session will consist of studying and participation in LIVE performances.

 

By the way, we cast first-timers in almost every show, so if this your first time auditioning for us (or for anything!), don't worry!  We'll help you have your best audition!

 

Tuition:

Non-members $895 ($250 registration fee + $645 workshop tuition) 

YSTA Members $795 ($200 registration fee + $595 workshop tuition) 

 

Auditions will be held in 2 hour blocks where each auditioner will get to sing, read from sides, and learn a dance combination in consideration for that show's full production workshop.

ALL auditioners 18 and under will pay a registration fee with the registration form below.  This registration fee is non-refundable except under the conditions listed under "After the audition" below.

Monday, February 10th: 4pm-6pm or 6pm-8pm

 

Mandatory parent meeting after sign-in is complete. The actor will stay the entire chosen block of time.

Please check your availability against the schedule below before requesting a time slot!

If cast, we will only excuse you from rehearsals with conflicts that you list ON THE FORM today. Please remember that the fewer conflicts you have, the better chance you have at being cast.

Mandatory Tech Rehearsals - 

Saturday, March 22nd, 10am-2pm and/or 3pm-7pm

Sunday, March 23rd, 10am-2pm and/or 3pm-7pm

Monday, March 24th, 5pm-9pm (Both Casts)

Tuesday, March 25th, 5pm-9pm and/or Thursday, March 27th 5pm-9pm

"And" if you are in both casts
"Or" if you are in only one cast 

 

Production Dates - 

Friday, March 28 - Sunday, April 13th, Weekends Only

 

After the audition:
Generally within a week after the final audition day you will receive an email letting you know if you are accepted into the workshop production.

1) If you are invited into the workshop, CONGRATULATIONS!  At that time, on receipt of the casting email, the remainder of tuition is due.

2) If you are not cast and invited into the workshop you will be refunded the registration fee and we encourage you to audition again in the future.

3) If you are offered a role that you stated on your audition form that you would accept, but then choose not to participate, your registration fee is non-refundable as we will use that for the time and resources we will need to use to recast the role.

 

4) Once you’ve paid the balance, you have accepted the role. There are no refunds or credits.

 

To register, fill out the registration form below and click "Submit" to pay the registration fee.  

 

Once that is done, you will receive a confirmation email with all of the information you need to have a wonderful audition.
